Winter is coming.

If the snow is about to start falling, the warm drinks need to start flowing. Heat things up with recipes sure to warm your customers’ hearts.

Chai Hot Chocolate

Classic hot chocolate gets a cool (and by “cool” we mean “hot”) chai twist.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups Dona Chai concentrate
  • ½ cup milk of choice, but we love Minor Figures Oat
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
  • Cinnamon sticks, for serving (optional)

Directions:

  • In a small pan, combine the chai concentrate and milk over medium heat. Heat until steaming, about 5 minutes.
  • Add one tablespoon of cocoa powder to the bottom of two mugs. Slowly whisk half of the hot chai mixture into the cocoa powder in each cup.
  • Top with whipped cream, an extra dusting of cinnamon, and serve.

Honey Cinnamon Chamomile Tea

Sweetly spicy and oh-so-nicely, this tea will fit your customers to a T.

Ingredients:

  • 1 chamomile tea bag
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Lemon slice for garnish

Directions:

  • Steep the chamomile tea bag in hot water for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in honey and cinnamon.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice.
Honey Cinnamon Chamomile Tea

Peppermint Mocha

A favorite for a reason–and the perfect treat for the season.

Ingredients:

     
  • 3/4 cup choice milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Torani peppermint syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired

Directions:

  • In a mug, add milk, cocoa and sugar. Heat until small bubbles begin to form around the edge and sugar has dissolved.
  • Stir in espresso, peppermint syrup, and vanilla and remove from heat.
  • Serve in a large mug and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired.
